About us
We design with judgment. We build with care.
Citrus Softworks is a design, web development and digital solutions agency. This page explains how we think and how we work, so you know what to expect before starting a project with us.
Understand first, then build
Before talking about technologies or design, we want to understand your business: who you sell to, how your team works and what’s holding you back. With that we propose a solution proportional to the problem. Sometimes it’s a complete website; sometimes a well-made page or connecting two tools you already have is enough.
Our principles
The problem before the tool
We choose technologies and formats based on what you need to solve, not the other way around.
Design and development together
We think of design and development as a single idea from the start, so what’s approved can be built exactly as it was designed.
Clarity about what we do and what we don’t
We tell you what each proposal includes and what’s left out, and we don’t promise results that don’t depend only on us.
Built to last
Clean code, enough documentation and explained decisions, so your project doesn’t depend on guessing how it was made.
Accessible by default
We design so more people can use what we build, including those who browse with a keyboard or a screen reader.
How we work with you
- We share progress at agreed moments, not just at the end.
- Your reviews are done on designs and working versions, not on abstract descriptions.
- When the scope changes, we talk about it before doing it and agree on how it affects the project.
- At delivery, we explain how what we built works and what you need to operate it.
What you can expect
- A written proposal
- Scope, deliverables and each party’s responsibilities before we start.
- Useful questions
- We’ll ask you for information and context; it helps us avoid assuming.
- Explanations without jargon
- If something technical matters for a decision, we explain it in clear terms.
- Honesty about fit
- If what you’re looking for isn’t something we do well, we’ll tell you.
